Telford College Beauty Students wowed by the Wow How app

3rd Dec 2017

We’re always keen to find out what people think of the Wow How app and how we can improve it further.  We recently spent a day with a group of beauty students at Telford College. They tested the app for us and gave us some fantastic feedback.

Thanks to Lindsey Harper, Progress Coach from the College for her help to organise the sessions.  She explained the day, saying:

“Today Gaynor Matthews from Wow How showed our Level 2/3 beauty therapy students a new App on how to apply differing make up looks with ease and expert advice. The learners really engaged with the app and worked through the different stages from skin tones to the application of lipstick. It was great to share this new way of applying makeup and we look forward to working with Gaynor and her team in the near future.”

This video captures some of the highlights.

One thing that was really interesting was the value that even confident beauty students found in the app.

“The best part about Wow How for me was that it showed you the techniques to use, showed how to apply the products, what brushes to use, application and technique”

“I thought it was really helpful”

“The split screen was very helpful”

Gaynor said: “Thanks so much to everyone who took part in our session. The day was really enjoyable and the feedback was brilliant. The app was developed for women who don’t have much confidence trying new make-up looks so it was really exciting to see the beauty students found it useful too.”

So if you haven’t tried the Wow How app yet why not give it a go?
