“I am so happy to be working with WOW HOW because it is the future of learning how to do makeup on yourself and brings together all my years of professional knowledge along with my teaching skills having run a makeup school since 2008. I feel the chosen panel is a perfect platform of various knowledge that will really set this app apart from all of the rest”

Tracy May-Harriott

Tracy is well into her third decade of a professional beauty career, she’s never done anything else, and is so passionate about what she does. The WOW HOW app is a teaching tool, and Tracy’s background in training and education in the beauty world will be hugely valuable to us. She’s spent a large part of her career working with salons and spas on the education side of the business, teaching people about ingredients and products.
Tracy is also a trained make-up artist, and has worked on fashion shoots and weddings. One of the main brands she is associated with is Elizabeth Arden, working as their International Director of Education and Business Development, again on the Salon and Spa side of the organisation. She works in 35 countries, currently using a range of technology to run training courses.

When Tracy initially saw WOW HOW, she was really impressed, explaining;

“I’ve seen a lot of apps recently but I was so impressed with this one and the potential for the technology, particularly for the teaching and training side of the beauty industry. It makes a virtual classroom possible. I love the way it can get across very specific instructions and techniques, making it so easy to follow along.”

Our founder, Gaynor explains more;

“The reason I’m working with these top make-up artist is because they see the same disconnect between beauty brands and consumers as I do. They see WOW HOW as a way for the everyday woman to try a new look based on their skin tone and facial features before they buy product. So many women buy products under store lighting and get it wrong.

“Both Tracey and Dani also agreed You Tube is not helping, makeup counters are intimidating as they are product driven and not every woman wants to be made up by a heavily makeup clad MUA!  I’m so excited to be working with these highly respected and recognised industry experts, their advice and guidance will be invaluable in helping me to expand WOW HOW globally and fulfil this need, exciting times ahead.”

Available now to download from the App Store and recently released in Android, the WOW HOW app can turn even the most inexperienced of makeup user into a more confident user, try new looks in your own time and at your own speed, looking and feeling great at the same time.
