Lockdown has meant that this year seems to have gone by in a flash and that means we are starting to see Christmas decorations and advertisements already. The beauty industry is no exception and as autumn/winter will soon be upon us, No7 at Boots have already launched the waiting list for their infamous Christmas advent calendar.
Beauty advent calendars have become increasingly popular over the last few years, with brands offering amazing value for money in festive style treats. Every year these calendars continue to sell out, but no brand seems able to match the hysteria that No7’s calendar attracts. Last year 225,000 people had signed up to get their hands on the calendar early and the item even managed to secure itself a place in the Boots hall of fame as their fastest-selling item EVER!
The No7 calendar is packed full of some of the best-selling makeup and skincare, allowing customers to enjoy a range of gifts in the run-up to Christmas. The calendar includes a variety of full-size products, travel sizes and vouchers to redeem products in-store providing a great range of items which customers can actually enjoy!
A number of calendars on the market have been criticised for providing too many mini / travel size products or cheap items, despite the high-cost of the calendar but not No7. Last year the calendar included a full size lipliner, lipstick and gloss, blusher and nail varnish. In addition travel size products include their infamous protect and perfect serum, day and night cream and eye cream. Customers were also able to redeem a full size eyeshadow of their choice and eyelash/eyebrow growth serum.
The calendar last year was available for just £42, with a value of £173.40. For the incredible value that this calendar provides, it is no wonder that Martin Lewis, the money-saving expert, has rated it the best beauty advent calendar to purchase and only added to the hype!
It has already been revealed that this year’s calendar is worth over a whopping £172 and will be available from the 14th October (if signed up to the waiting list) and the 15th October in-store and online for other customers. This year the calendar will be £45 and is expected to sell out within 24 hours of launch. Make sure to sign up or head into the store on the day of release to get your hands on the beauty advent calendar of the year, or you will definitely miss out!
