Today’s review is all about bronzer! Bronzer is definitely one of my favourite products in my makeup routine however finding the right colour can often be tricky. So many bronzers on the market appear orange on the skin, rather than giving you a sun-kissed, golden look so finding the perfect product can seem like a constant trial and error.

Physicians Formula has been a dominant brand within the skincare and cosmetics market since its launch in 1937. The brand was created after the founder’s wife was diagnosed with lupus and struggled to find products which wouldn’t aggravate her sensitive skin. The origins of the brand make it is easy to see why healthy and gentle beauty is at the heart of their products, with all ingredients focused on being kind to the skin. In 2017 they were rated America’s no1 selling bronzer brand and are now stocked worldwide. I can definitely see why!!

I initially came across the Physicians Formula butter bronzer on a holiday to America in 2017. It raved about by all of my favourite American YouTubers and so when I was able to get a hold of it I was elated! Within a few days of purchase I had already returned to the local Walgreens to buy a backup and a slightly darker colour for the summer, I was obsessed. The “bronze” shade was my perfect colour, with warm and olive undertones which looked so natural. The range includes four shades, suitable for a wide range of skin tones which I love. Often brands only include one bronzer colour, but this allows for you to really find your perfect and natural colour. The formula really is like no other. The soft-focus pigments allow this powder bronzer to blend like a cream, smoothing and brightening the skin into an instantly golden finish. It requires little blending due to the soft and silky finish, allowing for a buildable application on the cheekbones or contour areas. The formula is also infused with gorgeous and nourishing ingredients making this the ultimate combination of skincare and cosmetics! Whilst the packaging of the product isn’t my favourite, in colourful plastic pots, the actual formula of the product can do no wrong in my eyes! To make this bronzer even better, it is hypoallergenic, dermatologist and clinically tested and vegan. It really is suitable for anyone and everyone.

It is fair to say when Boots began to stock the brand last year I was incredibly excited and have begun trying the brands other products too. For £12.99 this bronzer is an absolute must-have, I promise!
